Hello, hello! I am a excited to share the new look and new home of of loving. living. small. It’s been almost four years and I was ready to freshen up a bit so here we are. I am forever thankful to my friend, Grace, who rocked this digital move for me and I am looking forward to sharing new content and ideas as well as much of the same series that have been part of this blog for a long time. The cool thing about the new blog – it’s a lot easier to search and view the series/categories – yes!

So are you feeling like time is moving fast too? Wow – it’s hard to believe that it’s fall already and the leaves are changing.  There has been change in the air and I wanted to share what I have been up to lately and also share more news. My big news – I get engaged to my longtime honey earlier this summer and moved to the DC area (my hometown). I am getting hitched in just four weeks and have been wedding planning away for our small, family only wedding on a rustic farm in Virginia. Have you ever planned a wedding? It’s a lot of work but it’s been a fun adventure and even more fun pouring over the gorgeous weddings featured on blogs like Style Me Pretty, Ruffled and 100 Layer Cake.

I also started writing for some great websites and have had the pleasure of being in some great blogs and digital magazines in the last few weeks. I am a new writer over at Flor’s Musing blog – you can catch my posts weekly. And I also doing a monthly post on best products for Houzz – you can find me right here. I did a roundup of small space decor picks in the latest Adore Home Magazine (such a fab issue)  and you can find my fall faves roundup over on Mimi + Meg (my sweet DC area blogging buddy). And really fun news – I will be in the November issue of InStyle Magazine as a tastemaker – coming out in a few weeks so stay tuned.

And it’s been a long time coming and a long time prepping but I am getting to launch an online shop – Salt General Store. My oh my am I excited (and nervous and thrilled and all that crazy stuff)! The shop will be for all design lovers with an emphasis on decor and wares for small space dwellers. It will include curated decor,  limited edition collections and one-of-a-kind items. A lot more to come but our goal is a holiday 2011 launch. The shop’s blog – loving. living. small. I am starting a new series on here that will be a place for sharing our progress, behind-the-scenes style and crazy moments as we get ready to open our digital doors.
